Christmas in Japan!

Hello everyone~! Welcome to Liv N' Luv Japan! Today, I will be talking about what is going on in Japan this December!! Japanese love to go all out and about when it comes to celebrating~! ^_^ In Japan, Christmas is a bit different from the West because of their Buddhism and Shinto religions. It involves basically around Christmas Eve instead of Christmas Day. In Japan as in America, presents are given and Santa Claus is widely known in Japan. Children always gets presents but children never give their parents presents until the point that they no longer believe in Santa Claus.

Christmas in Japan is also considered a romantic holiday, and lovers would spend their evening together with each other doing suitably romantic things. It's crucial for single women in Japan to have someone spend Christmas Eve with them. It is also very important where they spend Christmas Eve and what presents they would receive. Japanese women who have a boyfriend tend to show off, so women who don't are not happy to talk about that topic. Christmas in Japan is very similar to Valentine's Day in the West.

Merry Christmas~!!! ^_^

I hope all of you have a happy and merry Christmas this 2013~!! ^_^
